I live in North London and starting breeding Maine Coons this year. I fell in love with Maine Coons when I was owned by a moggie girl who looked a bit like a Maine Coon. Later, when I saw my first Maine Coon in a magazine, it was love at first sight. There was something about how majestic it looked, yet so gentle. I just had to have one of these gentle giants with their amazing coats, bushy tails, and fantastic personalities.
Thanks to Mike and Trina Biggs of Mullycoonz Cattery, I got my first breeding queen last year - Mullycoonz Eowyn (whom I call Ananda), a beautiful tortie-smoke with the sweetest temperament.
I also have a Bengal neuter girl (Maya) and a half-Maine Coon neuter boy (Teddy).
My cats live in the house as much-loved pets - they also have access to a cat-proof garden. My kittens were born in the bedroom, and are brought up in an indoors-only home-environment so that they are used life and noises in a normal household.
I believe in giving the best to my cats and kittens. That's why I raise them holistically. Both cats and kittens are fed a home-prepared natural raw diet, and I use homeopathy (as well as conventional medicines where necessary) to keep them in good health.
I am a member of the Maine Coon Breed Society, Coontica, the Maine Coon Cat Club and the Novice Breeders Advice Club. My kittens are registered with The International Cat Association (TICA).
